Who will be photographing our wedding?
One or both of the owners of RaeJen Photography will have
the honor of photographing your wedding.
Do you have another photographer to back you
up in case you become ill?
We belong to the Professional Photographers of America
(PPA), whose members work together to assist each other
at a moment’s notice.
How much time do I really need for my photography?
We understand that you need to stay within your budget;
however, more time logically equals more photography.
RaeJen Photography requires a minimum photography start
time of 2-1/2 hours prior to your ceremony. While this
may sound like a lot of time, it goes by so quickly. Ample
time allows us to change photography areas, not to be
rushed, and to provide you with the best quality and most
creative images.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, we have backup cameras, lenses, lights and other
equipment for all of our camera systems.
Do you use digital or film?
We have three, professional-grade digital cameras, ranging
from 6.1 to 10.2 megapixels. These have proven comparable
to high-quality film cameras.
How long before we receive our Proof Portfolio
and completed album?
Proof Portfolios are typically in your hands within 3-4
weeks after your wedding day. As for the album, if you
return your list of images within 4 months of your wedding,
your completed wedding album will be available in approximately
8-10 weeks.
Do you sell the negatives?
We offer three collections with high-resolution images.
The files are provided on a DVD, and the images can then
be safely stored, e-mailed and printed at your convenience,
without the hassle of negatives.
How far will you travel before a fee is charged,
and what is that fee?
For every wedding, we include 150 miles of travel from
Kennesaw, Ga., at no additional cost. If the total travel
distance exceeds 150 miles, there is a travel fee of 35
cents/mile. For travel distances over 200 miles, hotel
arrangements are required.
Do you travel to other states and countries?
Yes, our travel fees are very reasonable. Please contact
us for a custom quote.
Do we need to arrange a meal for you during the
reception?
For weddings that are seven hours or longer, we might
need something to keep our momentum going. If you can
accommodate the two to three members of our staff in your
buffet or seated dinner counts, that would be wonderful.
We will discreetly take breaks at different intervals
so our focus remains on your day.
Do you have a limit on the amount of photographs
that you take?
No, we do not have a limit. Our policy is to capture the
day. Please keep in mind that, logically, a 12-hour event
will usually generate more pictures than a 6-hour event.
Do you use flash during the ceremony?
Your ceremony, whether in a church or an outside venue,
is a sacred service; therefore, we do not use flash, whether
it is permitted or not.
